Friends of the Forum, Donors, Sponsors
The Friends of the Forum include individuals from all walks of life who pledge resources to the Whistler Forum and/or give of their time and professional expertise in support of special activities and programs. Friends are offered opportunities that enable them to stay in touch with one another through informative mailings and invitations to special events and symposia, policy dialogues, while providing exceptional support to the Forum’s mission of “building community through citizen engagement”.
While this support is for the benefit of the Forum overall, it also allows for events and seminars to be conducted exclusively for the Friends. The Forum offers opportunities for Friends to engage in in-depth discussion regarding current topics in society, meet and listen to guests of the Forum and, through it all, to join a thoughtful community that is committed to the improvement of the human condition.
By completing the form (below) you can become a Friend of the Forum and will be contacted by the Board and/or President to discuss how you can support the Whistler Forum.
Peter Shrimpton - Chair Friends of the Forum
Peter is a well-known commercial and real estate lawyer in Whistler at Mountain Law Corporation. He has been legal advisor to Whistler Skiers Chapel Society and the Millennium Place Board. He is very well connected in the community and as well has broad international life experience.
