Leadership Lessons with John Furlong, February 13th
A Celebration on the Launch of Patriot Hearts
John Furlong OC, has been described as a Sports Hero, Nation Builder and the Ultimate Crisis Manager. Known for his masterful storytelling and innovative leadership style, he continues to inspire, regaling audiences with the many remarkable and fascinating untold stories behind the Games.
Many said it was a vision too far, urging him to set the goals at a more attainable level. Furlong refused and through an exhaustive ten year journey went on to deliver, what have now been recognised by the IOC as, the most successful Winter Games ever.
We are honoured to have John back in Whistler on the first year anniversary of the Games, and to partner with the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program in hosting him in a dinner. There are seats enough for 75 at $100 pp with a charitable tax receipt for $50 and all proceeds going to WASP and the Forum's Leadership Sea to Sky program.
Sunday February 5:30 at the Delta Village Suites with dinner catered by Whistler Cooks and John's new book Patriot Hearts for sale by Armchair Books.
Tickets are available on the WASP website.
